If you’re here for a guide to the “Bad Moms” movies in order, you’ve come to the right place! This series takes the chaos of motherhood and cranks it up to outrageous levels, where trying to keep it all together becomes a comedy of epic proportions.
Whether you’re ready for scenes of rebellion, disastrous holiday gatherings, or moms finding freedom in the most unexpected places, watching the “Bad Moms” movies in order will take you through every wild, hilarious twist.
Bad Moms
In the first film, we meet Amy, a super-stressed mom who seems to have it all together—at least on the surface. She juggles work, her kids, her marriage, and about a million other things until she snaps. One day, she decides she’s done with trying to be the “perfect” mom. She teams up with two other overworked moms, Kiki and Carla, who are also just barely holding it together. Together, they throw out the rulebook and dive headfirst into some much-needed chaos and self-care.
The trio takes on PTA meetings, school rules, and even the all-powerful “perfect” PTA mom, Gwendolyn, who rules the school with an iron fist. Cue the wild nights, questionable decisions, and lots of hilarious moments as Amy, Kiki, and Carla start to rediscover life beyond homework help and packed lunches. They find themselves in all sorts of ridiculous situations, challenging everything people think about motherhood in the funniest, most outrageous ways possible.
A Bad Moms Christmas
In the second film, A Bad Moms Christmas (2017), Amy, Kiki, and Carla are back, just trying to survive the most “wonderful” time of the year. But this time, the chaos level hits a new high because all three of their moms are coming to town for the holidays. Each of their moms has, let’s just say, very different ideas about what a “perfect Christmas” looks like, and it’s not long before holiday cheer turns into holiday mayhem.
Amy’s mom, Ruth, wants everything fancy and over-the-top, like a Hallmark card on steroids. Kiki’s mom, Sandy, is ridiculously clingy and has no concept of personal space, and Carla’s mom, Isis, just wants to party—and maybe make a little cash on the side. So, now it’s not just a battle against holiday stress but a battle against their own mothers’ crazy expectations. Cue the wild shopping sprees, holiday parties gone wrong, and some seriously questionable Christmas decorations as the “Bad Moms” take on their moms, the holiday, and every last bit of sanity they have left.
