Justice League

The world is in chaos after Superman’s death, and a new threat is looming: Steppenwolf, an ancient, power-hungry villain, has returned to Earth to collect three powerful Mother Boxes. With these in his control, he plans to conquer the planet. Batman, sensing the danger, teams up with Wonder Woman to recruit a new group of heroes capable of stopping this apocalyptic force. They seek out Aquaman, the half-human king of Atlantis; The Flash, a young speedster with incredible abilities; and Cyborg, a man merged with alien technology.

As the newly-formed Justice League struggles to unite, they face Steppenwolf’s ruthless army of Parademons. Their mission? To stop him before he assembles all three boxes and unleashes total destruction. But even with their combined strength, the team soon realizes they may not be strong enough to win without the one hero they’re missing—Superman. Time is running out, and the fate of the world hangs in the balance as the League prepares for the ultimate showdown.

Aquaman

Following the events of the Justice League, Arthur Curry, A.K.A Aquaman, is forced to confront his destiny. Born to a human father and Atlantean mother, Arthur has always struggled between two worlds. But when his half-brother Orm, the ruthless king of Atlantis, threatens to unite the seven underwater kingdoms to wage war on the surface world, Arthur is pulled into a battle he can’t avoid. With the help of Mera, a fierce Atlantean warrior, Arthur embarks on an action-packed quest to find the legendary Trident of Atlan, the only weapon powerful enough to stop Orm.

As Arthur journeys through dangerous underwater cities and mystical lands, he faces deadly creatures, treacherous enemies, and a challenge to prove he’s worthy of the throne. Orm’s forces grow stronger, and the clock is ticking before the war begins. Arthur must decide if he’s willing to accept his role as king and fight for both the surface and the underwater worlds, or let Orm’s conquest unfold unchecked. The fate of two worlds is in his hands, and the battle for Atlantis is about to erupt.

Zack Snyder’s Justice League

In Zack Snyder’s Justice League, the story dives deeper into the original 2017 Justice League movie, with a darker, more intense tone and expanded character arcs as it explores more of Cyborg’s internal struggles, The Flash’s development, and the stakes are much higher as the threat to Earth is presented in a much grander, apocalyptic scale. The heroes must unite, but without Superman, their mission seems nearly impossible. The fight is bigger, the stakes are deadlier, and the looming danger of Darkseid casts a long shadow over the world.

Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom

In Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom, Arthur Curry returns as Aquaman, now ruling Atlantis but facing a new, terrifying threat from the ocean’s depths. With his half-brother Orm locked away, a fragile peace hangs over Atlantis, but it’s soon shattered when an ancient power awakens. Black Manta, still burning with vengeance, resurfaces with deadlier forces, driven by a thirst for destruction and a mysterious, powerful artifact. Aquaman must once again step into action, battling enemies on land and sea, while protecting both Atlantis and the surface world from annihilation.

But this time, the stakes are higher than ever. Aquaman is forced to forge uneasy alliances, even reaching out to Orm for help, as the mysteries of the Lost Kingdom unfold. The path ahead is full of treachery, dark secrets, and relentless foes that threaten everything Arthur holds dear. The fight for the future of Atlantis pushes Aquaman to his limits, as the fate of both worlds hangs by a thread.

And there you have them, folks, all 4 Aquaman movies listed in the correct order, starting with his first major appearance in Justice League in 2017, and his last appearance in Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom in 2023.
